The New England Aquarium

African Meeting House
 

Oldest African-American Church; it was dedicated in 1806, and for a century was the center of African-American community activities.

   
Boston Public Library
 

The library contains a large collection of manuscripts and rare books, it also has exhibits from American artists and sculptors, including the mural paintings of Edwin Austin Abbey's "The Quest of the Holy Grail".

   
Bunker Hill Monument
 

221-foot granite obelisk with a spiral staircase to the top, marking the site of the Battle of Bunker Hill, which took place June 17,1775. The monument contains exhibits about the battle.

   
Faneuil Hall
 

The 1742 building served as meeting hall during the Revolution, it contains a military museum and paintings of notable battles.

   
Soldier's Monument
 

Located in Dorchester Heights where patriot George Washington fortified and drove the British out of Boston on March 17,1776.

   
State House
 

Designed and completed in 1798 by Charles Bulfinch, it still has the original brick front section. Inside there are on display war relics, historical paintings, battle flags, etc. Beacon Street.
